Ortino Announces Campaign Manager for Sheriff’s Race April, 30, 2008 Victor Ortino, republican candidate for Collier County Sheriff, announced today he is bringing Andy Hall on board as Campaign Manager for his 2008 election run. “I’ve asked a good friend who I deeply respect to help direct our efforts in seeking the office of Sheriff,” says Ortino. Retiring as a U.S. Navy Captain in 2001, Hall and his family moved to southwest Florida where he worked as General Manager of a Naples aircraft company, Editor for n media group and as an adjunct professor at Florida Gulf Coast University. “My campaign is extremely fortunate to have someone of Andy’s talents join us in this campaign. Andy shares my beliefs that Collier County needs to move towards a department aimed at improving fiscal discipline, personal accountability, community respect and better professionalism,” Ortino said. Hall completed a 25-year military career as a decorated naval aviator, serving in the Joint Staff’s National Military Command Center as Chief of Airborne Reconnaissance, as Operations Officer at both the Fleet and Wing levels, and as air squadron commanding officer. A veteran of Desert Storm, he holds advance degrees in National Resource Strategy as well as a MBA. “I’m excited about contributing to Victor Ortino’s campaign for change, and appreciate the experience, integrity and passion he’ll bring to the job as Collier County’s next Sheriff. We’ll make every effort to inform and educate voters of why Victor Ortino’s vision and plan for law enforcement is the best to benefit Collier residents in the future,” states Hall.
